Measurable targets, or key performance indicators (KPIs), are the specific metrics that you want to measure in order to determine whether or not you have achieved your objectives. Examples of KPIs include uptime, response time, and data transfer speed.
Projects, or actions, are the specific steps that you need to take in order to achieve your objectives and KPIs. Examples of projects could include implementing redundant systems and processes, developing and maintaining a disaster recovery plan, or upgrading IT infrastructure.
